Gallery 1, by way of introduction, contains some of my standard colour photographs. These are mainly shot using slide film, although I occasionally use colour negative materials. This selection covers pictures from 1991 up to date. I have included a little background detail for these images. | |||||||

The Balloon gallery. Whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds in 1998, I had the opportunity ( or the misfortune! ) of getting up at 5:45 am on a very foggy summer morning, to help with the preparation and eventual launch of a hot air balloon from the field next to the farmhouse in which we were staying. As you can see from the results, - it was well worth the effort! | |||||||

Fossils. Whilst on holiday in Lyme Regis this year, Sharon and I went on two fossil hunting expeditions organised by a local expert on the subject, Dr Colin Dawes. The second trip was a little bit different since Colin was accompanied by a film crew for the Carlton Kids TV show "Wakey, wakey", presented by Naomi Wilkinson. Enjoy this one! | |||||||

Venice; - or more correctly: "Carnevale di Venecia - 2000". - Having been inspired by the award winning AV sequences of John and Herta Blackwell, Sharon and I decided to pay a visit to the "Jewel of the Adriatic" during February/March 2000.
